I focus on building strong mathematical foundations so students enter GCSE with confidence. Lessons develop fluency in number work, algebra, and geometry, while introducing structured problem-solving and clear working methods. Each session moves from topic teaching to exam-style questions, with termly assessments to measure progress.
I provide exam-focused tutoring for both Higher and Foundation tiers. For students who feel behind, we rebuild the foundations, especially number fluency and algebra—before progressing to full exam preparation. Lessons combine topic teaching, workbook practice, and extensive exam-style questions. Every student follows a specification checklist to track completion of topics and move confidently from current to target grade.
I work with a small number of A-Level students each year to ensure every lesson is highly focused and productive. Sessions are tailored around the student’s most challenging topics, often algebra, trigonometry, and calculus, moving from uncertainty to full mastery. A-Level lessons involve a greater volume and variety of questions, helping students develop problem-solving depth and exam precision.
